The Notifications module within the platform is designed to alert users when important events occur.
These notifications can be sent via SMS, email or telephone, depending on the user’s preferences. The notification module
works on the basis of triggers that the system itself detects. These adjustable triggers can include different events,
such as reaching the first pier of the North Sea Canal, a ship leaving the port or a generic trigger based on data or user action.
