This release brings a handful of practical improvements across invoicing, integrations, templating, lists and the dashboard — small changes that should make day-to-day work smoother and give you better traceability.
Invoicing
- Events for invoice lifecycle
Invoice create/update/delete now emit events the system (and your integrations) can listen to.
- More visibility into how invoices were built
The invoice details page now shows a Connected Data box so you can quickly see the records and sources used to calculate an invoice. It’s handy when you want to trace a charge back to its origin.
- Easier filtering in the invoice list
You can now select multiple statuses when filtering the invoice overview (for example: Draft + Pending). Faster searches, fewer clicks.
Integrations & External Data
- AIS Processor added
A new AIS processor is integrated to improve vessel and position handling. Expect more reliable vessel data feeding SHIPM8 features that depend on movement or position information, like the map and tracks.
- Better automation via invoice events
With invoice events available (see above), downstream exports, notifications and other automations can be simpler and more dependable.
Templating & Calculations
- Sort by multiple fields in templates
Templates can now sort collections by more than one field (e.g., date then priority). That gives you more control when generating lists, emails or exports.
Lists & Generic UI
- Control how empty fields are sorted
Lists now offer options for how empty values are treated in sorting (top or bottom), so ordering behaves the way you expect even with missing data.
- Calculated columns in lists
You can add computed fields/columns to generic overview and detail lists (derived totals, combined labels, etc.). Useful for quick insights without changing underlying data.
Documents & Structure
- Fixed folder layouts for objects
Admins can define a standard folder structure for object types so documents are stored consistently across teams. If your team wants uniform organisation, this should help.
Dashboard & Tasks
- Expired task groups show connected objects
The dashboard now indicates which objects expired task groups belong to. That makes it easier to jump straight to the record that needs attention.
